  • 1. Wind solar resource measurements/offshore, Testing & Research Station , R&D and resource data analytics & forecasting. 2. NIWE IS Capable of providing following services: Wind Resource Modeling Techniques, Wind Speed Statistics and Energy Calculations, Micro-siting and layout of wind farms, Wind Resource Measurement, Wind Turbine Technology, Design and Safety requirements as per standards and O & M practices. 3. AWARDS: NIWE has been has been awarded the “SESI Special Award to Centre of Excellence” by the Solar Energy Society of India, “Special Institution Recognition Award” by the Wind India – 2008, “Best Stall design” in 2015 by Indian Science Congress Association at Mumbai University,Mumbai, Bid Award Geneva 2015 Gold Category for International Quality at Geneva, Switzerland in 2015, “Education Leadership Award” by Vijayavani, Karnataka’s largest circulated Kannada daily, "Africa Education Leadership Award" by World CSR Day & World Sustainability in 2015, “Education Leadership Award” in the ABP News National Education Awards in 2016, “National eGovernance Award 2018-19” by Academic Research Institutions for the project “Wind power forecasting for the whole state of Tamil Nadu”.
