Defence Research & Development Establishment (DRDE) is an Indian defence laboratory of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) that is involved in the R&D on defence against hazardous chemical and biological agents as well as associated toxicological problems. The lab also extensively researches in the fields of synthetic and analytical chemistry, protective devices, process technology development, pharmacology and toxicology, microbiology, entomology, biochemistry, biotechnology, virology, and electron microscopy.
