Brief Description
Description : | Oxygen is one of the critical variables being controlled in aquaculture ponds. Aerators are typically used for infusing atmospheric oxygen in the pond to increase the oxygen level in water. The aerators are electrically operated and run for 20 to 23 hour / day in most cases consuming30 to 36kWh/day / 2 hp aerator. Thus adding to cost of maintaining an aquaculture farm. Present project focuses on modifying existing design of aerator to make them more efficient and reducing the cost of operation. |
