Technology Interventions for Disabled and Elderly (TIDE)

A unique initiative aimed at promoting basic research, development and adaptation of technology for improving quality-of-life of elderly population and disabled people in the country through application of Science and Technological inputs.

Achievements:

• Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) devices for Neuromuscular Rehabilitation
• Automatic generation of sign language from Hindi Text for communication and education of hearing impaired people
