The programme aims at promoting the development of innovative solutions to society’s most pressing social problems. The scheme tackles major social issues and offer new ideas for widespread change. The scheme aims to invest in ideas and innovations that improve health care of all Indians and encourage affordable product development in the social sector

Funding Agency: Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC)

Eligibility: Indian Citizen from the fields of Life sciences, Agriculture, Engineering, Medicine & human biology with educational qualification raging from undergraduate (B.Tech, BE, MBBS) or postgraduate (MSc, MS, M.Tech, MPhil, MD) & PhD

Purpose: Innovations, Research

Duration: 1 Year and 6 Months

Application Method: Online

Fellowship / Financial Assistance: Selected Fellows would receive a fellowship from of INR 50,000 per month and a onetime start grant of INR 5 lakhs per fellow
