Scheme for setting up of over 5000 MW Grid-connected SPV power projects under IV of JNNSM PHASE-II

The objective of this scheme is Setting up of over 5000 MW Grid-connected SPV power projects under IV of JNNSM PHASE-II and scaling up of sizes of projects thereby leading to economies of scale. The scheme aims to facilitate speedier implementation of the solar power projects through adoption of mechanism of solar parks to meet the Phase-II target of NSM, wherever feasible, subject to meeting the timelines set by the Government of India etc.

Fellowship / Financial Assistance: Viability Gap Funding (VGF) support of Rs. 5050 crore will be provided for setting up of at least 5000 MW Grid-connected Solar PV power projects by Solar Power Developers on Build-Own-Operate basis.Rs. 1.0 crore/MW for open category and Rs. 1.25 crore/MW for projects in Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) category
