Since its founding in 1992, the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) at IIT Delhi has led the way in academic knowledge transfer initiatives. This academic techno-commercial organization is regarded as one of the most successful of its kind. FITT is continuously expanding its operational landscape and offers excellent program management services. In facilitating innovations and technopreneurship, business collaborations, technology development, consulting, cooperative research and development, technology commercialization, development initiatives, corporate memberships, and more, FITT plays a variety of roles. These positions are required by the Foundation's main goal of showcasing the Institute's "intellectual ware" to business in order to unlock its knowledge base and instill a sense of industrial relevance in IIT Delhi's research and teaching. The goal is to serve as an effective industry interface to foster, promote and sustain commercialization of science and technology in the Institute for mutual benefits.
