| Description :
|India tops the world in having largest area under cotton cultivation. However, the yield of cotton in India is destitute being 500 Kg/ha compared to the country like Brazil which has cotton yield about 2000 Kg/ha. Thus, innovative technologies are needed to improve yield in India which will be a direct benefit to the farmer. A formulation has been developed which improves cotton yield. Multi-location trials in different cotton growing states showed 10-15% increase in yield of popular cotton hybrids. This formulation also brings earliness in boll bursting. It works by augmenting actions of phyto-hormones involved in cotton boll development.
