Summer Student Programme 2026, IISER Pune ​

About:

A summer research programme where selected students work on short‑term research projects under IISER Pune faculty, including both theoretical and experimental projects, to gain hands‑on research experience and explore higher‑studies opportunities at IISER.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be from institutes other than IISER Pune and be enrolled in 2nd/3rd/4th year of B.Sc./B.Tech./B.E. or 1st year of M.Sc./M.Tech. or equivalent programme, with minimum about 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade; additional project‑specific background or skills may be required as mentioned in individual project listings. ​

Engineering, Engineers, Post-Graduation, Graduation

Duration:

4–8 weeks, typically between 15 May 2026 and 21 July 2026. ​

Stipend:

No stipend; selected students receive free hostel accommodation, but travel and hostel mess charges (around ₹6000 per month) must be paid by the student. ​
