About: | Next Gen Scientists Foundation (NGSF) (registered under the Trust act of India 1882) offers funded research internships for undergraduate and postgraduate students to gain independent research experience in life sciences at Indian institutes under the mentorship of a chosen Principal Investigator/Professor, with options for both on-site and remote (Computational Biology) internships. |
Eligibility: | Applicants must be enrolled at an Indian institute and interested in a 2–3 month life science–associated internship; they should be in the 2nd year of a 3-year UG program, 2nd/3rd year of a 4-year UG program, 1st year of a 2-year master’s program, or 2nd/3rd/4th year of a 5-year integrated program, and must have an offer to work in a lab of a PI/Professor in an Indian institute different from their own; students already receiving financial assistance from the PI or other agencies (e.g., KVPY, INSA, JNCASR, IIT, IISER) are not eligible for additional support from this program. |
