The invention provides synthesis and in vitro anticancer activity of novel pyrrolo[2,1-c][1,4]benzodiazepine derivatives with dithiocarbamate side chains. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of new pyrrolo[2,1-c][1,4]benzodiazepine derivatives with dithiocarbamate side chains of general formula (A) and a process for the preparation thereof.
