IN250767: An improved process for the preparation of carbon nanotube for industrial applications

The process disclosed relates to the preparation of carbon nanotubes by catalytic decomposition of cycloalkane over a trimetallic oxide catalyst prepared by sol-gel method, as cycloalkane being the carbon source, thereby facilitating the catalytic decomposition reaction temperature to be as low as 700-800°C.
