A process for treatment of coconut fibres with oil- in-water emulsion

A process for treatment of coconut fibres with oil- in-water emulsion: the process comprises of preparation of an emulsion of castor oil and urea is added as a moisturizer that is sprayed with a sprayer on the fibres and left under piling conditions for 24 hours. During this period, the fibres become soft and suitable for spinning. It has been found that this new process increases the production by 10%. Further, the process does not generate any effluent besides being user friendly.
