Acid Proof Cement from Rice Husk Ash - Waste from Boilers

Acid proof cement from rice husk ash is used as a mortar for bedding and jointing of acid proof bricks, tiles, stoneware pipes, etc. With the growth of industries producing and discharging acidic products/waste, there is a good market for acid proof cement. Rice husk ash is a waste material obtained from boilers using rice husk as fuel. Disposal of such ash is a major problem for the industry. Conversion of this ash to a value added product not only improves the profitability of the industry but also solves the environment problem to a certain extent.
