(1) A unique sacrificial anode. It is based on aluminum with 5% alloying addition. It possesses high potential (-1.2V) in comparison to conventional Zn and Mg anodes, higher anode efficiency (96%) and lower tendency for alkali softening of area near the anode fixtures. (2) Used for cathodic protection of immersed and buried structures
