Recognizing the crucial role of technology in solving rural problems and its marginal availability in these areas, the science ministries have supported numerous technologies that can improve livelihood and absolve drudgery. These include agricultural technologies, technologies to aid apiculture, horticulture and many others that can make the day to day lives of people in rural areas easier and addresses the technology divide between rural & urban India.
Presented here are some star technologies developed and implemented to sustain livelihoods.
