Disinfection with Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) is a low-pressure, low-temperature, nontoxic process that uses vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide to reduce the level of infectious agents. H2O2 is strong oxidant and can be used as potent broad-spectrum germicide. H2O2 belongs to the category of High-Level Disinfection (HLD). Disinfectants of this level kill all vegetative microorganisms, mycobacteria, lipid and nonlipid viruses, fungal spores, and some bacterial spores. It is safer than chlorine.
