Post-Doctoral
Group Algebras, Representations and Computation
The focus of this program is on theoretical aspects of group algebras and representation theory of finite and profinite groups complemented by computational techniques using discrete algebra system GAP.
Cauchy-Riemann Equations in Higher Dimensions
The program covers the basics of the theory through lectures, collaborative problem sessions and presentations. Applications of complex analysis and L2 methods to other areas of mathematics will be especially emphasized. This program will be of interest to researchers working in the areas of Complex Analysis, Complex Geometry (both Algebraic and Differential), Partial Differential Equations, Operator Theory, etc.
The Myriad Colorful Ways of Understanding Extreme QCD Matter
The goal of this program is to train the younger researchers comprehensively via assimilation of diverse theoretical perspectives including lattice gauge theory, perturbative QCD, and also holographic and kinetic approaches for far-from-equilibrium phenomena.
Probabilistic Methods in Negative Curvature
The program is aimed at active researchers working in probability, ergodic theory and hyperbolic geometry with an emphasis on their interactions. One purpose of the program is to serve to bring members of the academic community (esp. the Indian community) in these areas together to foster cross-fertilization. Since the program is relatively advanced, the primary focus will be on young faculty members and postdocs in these areas.
Algebraic and Analytic Aspects of Automorphic Forms
The workshop will be from 25th of February to 1st of March, 2019, and the discussion meeting from 4th of March to 7th of March, 2019. The workshop consists of the four courses, each of 6 hours duration, with some extra time devoted to tutorials.
Preparatory School on Population Genetics and Evolution (PGE 2019)
PGE 2019 will be an intensive one-week course, scheduled an year before the Main School on the same subject in 2020. Together, the program aims to develop an interest and understanding of population genetics and evolution among students from diverse backgrounds, including biology, computer science, mathematics, medicine and physics.
Universality in random structures: Interfaces, Matrices, Sandpiles
This program aims to bring together leading researchers in these areas from all over the world for a discussion on recent progress and remaining challenges.
Cosmology - The Next Decade
The workshop will bring together a larger number of working scientists for an advanced discussion of the latest developments in these and related areas. In addition, as part of the workshop, there will be one day (a Survey Day) reserved for detailed discussion on current and upcoming large scale structure and CMB experiments, especially keeping mind core Indian involvement to specific missions and surveys.
Course on Health Research Fundamentals
Online course on Manage TB
The online course for doctors 'Manage TB' is an initiative to address the felt need of sensitizing doctors, both in the public and private sector on the standards of cae and the new guidelines and developments in the modern management of TB.
