International Symposium on Advances in Coastal Research with special reference to Indo Pacific- 2019 (AdCoRe IP-2019)
The theme of the conference is on coastal research advances. The symposium is aimed to attract the global scientific experts, academician, researchers and policy makers onto the common platform of collaborating in the area of global challenges facing coastal regions worldwide. Outcome of the symposium will be useful to better understand the common coastal issues of concern, enhance regional co-operation, devise unique strategies and fine tune national policies across the Indo Pacific region.
International PhD Fellowship Programme
Belle Analysis Workshop 2019 (BAW 2019)
The workshop is meant for all Indian students working on the B-flavor physics. Experts from India and abroad will give series of lectures and discuss the research work of the Ph.D. students. The workshop aims to bring theorist and experimentalist working on B-physics together and motivate the next generation to go beyond the third generation, and search for the New Physics.
Advancements in Multirate Signal Processing
The primary aim of this course-cum-workshop is to impart the knowledge of multirate systems among participants, starting from scratches to the most advanced research findings through various lectures, invited talks and lab sessions.
20th INDO US Flowcytometry Workshop
The workshop is a two-day advanced programme in flowcytometry for diagnosis of primary immune deficiency disoders.
Observational Astronomy
The focus of the training will be on hand on experience on observational Astronomy using 1m-ARIES telescope. The topics covered at the school include: telescopes, Star Formation and evolution, circumstellar matter radiative Processes, and techniques of photometry, spectroscopy, as well as Galactic and Extra-galactic Astronomy.
Biotechnology & Intellectual Property Law
This course aims to teach IPR, with a special focus on patents. Also, it will look at the importance of patents in the world of biotechnology and what can be actually patented. At what stage protection of invention/research should be initiated and what can be the long term benefits, how IPR is helpful for entrepreneurship,
all these question will be addressed in this course. The course will also shed light on working of patents and enable the participants to assess whether their research should be protected or not.

The basic objective of the scheme is to bring together academicians and
experts from different parts of the country and abroad to exchange
knowledge and ideas. Financial assistance under the scheme is available to all Colleges, which come under the purview of Section 2(f) and are fit to receive central assistance under Section 12B of the UGC Act, 1956.
Group Algebras, Representations and Computation
The focus of this program is on theoretical aspects of group algebras and representation theory of finite and profinite groups complemented by computational techniques using discrete algebra system GAP.
Cauchy-Riemann Equations in Higher Dimensions
The program covers the basics of the theory through lectures, collaborative problem sessions and presentations. Applications of complex analysis and L2 methods to other areas of mathematics will be especially emphasized. This program will be of interest to researchers working in the areas of Complex Analysis, Complex Geometry (both Algebraic and Differential), Partial Differential Equations, Operator Theory, etc.
