Executive Summary :

The project targets to develop and integrate the bio-photo-electro catalyst system based reactor(s) that will treat domestic and industrial effluents. A novel approach of microbial consortia and the photo-electro catalysis towards enhanced biomass growth, waste water treatment and targeted biofuel production (hythane - hydrogen, methane) will be applied. We will test laboratory scale prototypes followed by fabrication of pilot plant capable of treating 1000 l/d waste water.
