Executive Summary :

The main focus of this study is to delineate the relative importance of different source regions to total dust deposition in the Asian ice cores, quantify the importance of different global teleconnections in modulating long term ice core dust fluxes over Asia and estimate the changes in dust radiative heating of the atmosphere before and after the industrial revolution.
