Executive Summary :

The He/H ratio of the universe comes from the measurements made using B-type stars (hot stars). This ratio is assumed to be same across all stars, both hot and cool, for a fine abundance analysis. Nevertheless, the measurement of He/H ratio from the observed optical spectra of cool stars is not possible as they do not show any helium line transition. This project 's goal is to measure the He/H ratio, that is the helium abundance, in cool stars by adopting a novel technique.
