Executive Summary :

Heavy metal ions generated by industries and thrown into waterbodies can cause diffusion and contamination. Because heavy metal ions are extremely poisonous and do not biodegrade, they quickly accumulate in living things. This project's goal is to develop metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) materials and use them to remove heavy metals from industrial wastewater. Using newly synthesised MOFs, a study of heavy metal removal from industrial wastewater will be conducted. The proposed methodology for achieving the goal entails the creation of a new metal-organic framework with exceptional chemical stability to water and high porosity, resulting in increased heavy metal ion adsorption efficiency from industrially polluted wastewater.
