Clean Fuel Research Initiative (CFRI)

The aim of the Clean Fuel Research Initiative (CFRI) is to use the renewable substance which can be used as fuel other than conventional fossil fuels so that they can serve, at least partly, as a substitute for fossil fuel in transportation and have the potential to contribute to its decarbonization and enhance the environmental performance of the transport sector. Some well-known fuels which can be used as Clean Fuels are biomass, biofuel, non-fossil natural gas, vegetable oil, liquefied petroleum gas, synthetic and paraffinic fuels, etc
