SEMICON India 2026 Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystems
The fifth edition of SEMICON India 2026 is being held from 17-19 September 2026 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, bringing together stakeholders from across the global semiconductor and electronics ecosystem. Jointly organised by the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) and SEMI, the event is themed “Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem.

The 2026 edition features 500+ exhibitors, 240+ international companies, 150+ speakers, delegations from more than 40 countries, six country pavilions and ten State Government pavilions, with over 15,000 square metres of exhibition space. The exhibition follows a value-chain approach, showcasing technologies and capabilities across different stages of the semiconductor and electronics ecosystem.
A major focus of SEMICON India 2026 is the transition from semiconductor design and manufacturing towards a more integrated silicon-to-systems ecosystem. Sessions on advanced packaging, equipment R&D and manufacturing, AI, electronic systems, research and development, international collaboration, fabless design and product creation reflect the expanding scope of India's semiconductor ambitions.
The event also comes as India continues to expand institutional support for semiconductor development through the Semicon India Programme. According to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, 12 semiconductor projects have been approved under Semicon 1.0, while Semicon 2.0 has been approved to accelerate the development of a robust and resilient semiconductor ecosystem. Support is also being extended to semiconductor design and innovation, with design tools made available to 332+ academic institutions and 105 start-ups, while 24 start-ups have been approved under the Design Linked Incentive (DLI) scheme.
With discussions spanning manufacturing, design, research, supply chains, advanced packaging, AI, sustainability and workforce development, SEMICON India 2026 provides a platform for connecting technology, research and industry capabilities across the semiconductor value chain. The event highlights the importance of coordinated development across fabrication, packaging, equipment, materials, design, electronics systems and skilled human resources in building a resilient semiconductor ecosystem.
The 2025 edition of SEMICON India, held from 2-4 September at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, brought together over 350 exhibiting companies and participants from 48 countries and regions. It laid the foundation for continued industry, research and technology collaboration across the semiconductor value chain.
