Executive Summary : | The study aims to assess the use and knowledge of millet among women in Andhra Pradesh, India. It will focus on estimating millet intake, patterns of intake, and the impact of local millet recipes in mothers' kitchens. The study will be conducted in selected districts and will involve 115 mothers with at least one child and elderly over 60 years. The study will involve house-to-house surveys, anthropometric measurements, dietary assessments, and blood sampling. The aim is to increase millet intake in the diet and decrease maternal anemia. The study will also explore the impact of local millet recipes on mothers' diets and anemia. |
