Executive Summary : | India celebrates National Mathematics Day on 22nd December in honor of Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. Mathematics is the language of nature, describing phenomena and interactions in the universe. Mathematical modeling, a key part of science, aims to understand real-world problems and their dynamics. The celebration provides a platform for discussing the importance, needs, and future development of mathematics in science and engineering. National Science Day is celebrated on 28th February to commemorate the invention of the Raman Effect by Indian physicist Sir Chandrasekhar Venkata Raman in 1928. Raman received the Nobel Prize in 1930 and was designated as an International Historic Chemical Landmark by the American Chemical Society in 2013. |
