IN226241: An improved device for making dosas and other similar products

The invention relates to an improved device useful for making dosas and other similar products. An improved device of the invention is particularly useful for spreading and cooking/baking of dosa batter into any shape, in particularly circular and elliptical shapes. Geometrical shapes so obtained by using the improved device of the invention are of uniform dimension and are obtained in a continuous/intermittent manner. The batter employed may be such as rice, urd dhal, soji, or a combination thereof. The improved device of the invention is therefore useful as an improved machine for spreading, cooking/baking and discharging of dosas and other similar products. Based on floating spreader, floating scraper and revolving hot plate concept, an improved device to produce dosas is proposed for the first time according to this invention.
