An Efficient Device For Collection and Immaculate Cleaning of Insect Eggs Mixed With Loose Scales

Trichogramma spp. are very minute insects that parasitized the pest eggs. There are available in the form of parasitized eggs glued to the post card sized cards. Each card bear nearly 20,000 parsitized eggs. These cards are stapled to the plants in the fields. Trichogramma emerged from the parasitied eggs. Eggs are obtained in billions by rearing Corcyra. The eggs laying is accompanied by shedding of numerous scales which are health hazardous. To collect and clean the eggs the said device is very efficient. Clean eggs are collected with great ease with harming the workers. The device again is versatile in separating the chaffy material from the heavy grains etc. Trichogramma is produced in several: Sugar mills (There are more than 100 sugar mills in UP alone) Agriculture universities (30 Agricultural Universities)/ Agriculture Colleges
