BRICS Call for Proposals for R&D Projects

Excellent research on key areas that are best served by a multinational approach is the focus of the BRICS STI Framework Programme. The project should make it easier for the institutions and researchers in the consortia which include partners from at least three of the BRICS nations to work together.

Eligibility: 1. Legal scientific research organisations from public and private academic institutions, national R&D labs, and R&D organisations recognised as Scientific and Industrial Research Organisations (SIROs) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research under the Recognition of Scientific and Industrial Research Organisations (SIRO), 1988 scheme are all eligible Indian partners. 2. The scientific R&D-performing Indian industry may choose to freely participate in this call by investing its own resources, or it may choose to collaborate with academic or research organisations while still investing its own resources.
