India-Taiwan Joint Call for Research Proposals in Social Sciences 2026

A bilateral international research grant announcement inviting joint Research and Development (R&D) project proposals to strengthen academic and scientific collaboration in Social Sciences between India and Taiwan. The funding support for the Indian research team is up to ₹12 Lakhs distributed over a project duration of 2 years. The joint call covers multiple disciplines including Economics, Commerce, Management, Business Administration, Sociology, Social Anthropology, Social Work, Demography, Gender Studies, Political Science, International Relations, Geography, Public Administration, Psychology, Education, Criminology, Law, Linguistics, Literature, Cultural Studies, Arts, Area Studies, History, Buddhist Studies, Philosophy, and Artificial Intelligence and Society (focusing on the social impact of emerging technologies).

Eligibility: Applicants must hold a regular or permanent academic/research employment position in a recognized university, college, or research institution in India. Candidates must possess a valid Ph.D. degree or equivalent qualification and demonstrate a proven track record of high-quality academic research interest. Proposals must be submitted jointly with a collaborating partner investigator based in Taiwan.
