Executive Summary :

The field of quantum information has seen significant advancements in the past three decades, with interdisciplinary aspects gaining interest in physics, relativity, biology, and other subjects. Relativistic quantum theory, which deals with topics like entanglement and space-time curvatures, is particularly intriguing. Entanglement is an observer-dependent quantity and decreases with particle acceleration in non-inertial frames. Discords like quantum correlations, quantum coherences, black hole information, quantum steering, and monogamy are also extensively studied in inertial and non-inertial frameworks. However, the effects of relativistic considerations on quantum information protocols are less studied, except for quantum teleportation. It is essential to study the multipartite quantum systems under the influence of relativistic effects in relation to quantum communication protocols like quantum dense coding and cryptography. The project aims to study the connection between quantum correlations/decoherence and quantum communications in these systems and quantum computing algorithms under the realms of RQI. The project has already begun working in this direction, with promising primitive results. The proposed work has the potential to bridge the gap between theory and experiments related to quantum communication, especially with respect to free space communications.
