DBT invites call for Letters of Intent (LoI) in Neuroscience

The Department of Biotechnology is desirous of supporting interdisciplinary efforts that advance Neuroscience Research and Education. Letters of intent (LoI) are invited in the basic science and translational research aspects that advance understanding of both normal and abnormal brain functioning with a focus on the following areas:
a) Brain function and its disorders or pathogenesis at the cellular & molecular level.
b) Development of neurological tools & techniques.
c) Building platforms for advancing the technological competency for brain functions and disorders.
d) Therapeutics, diagnostics, imaging technology and biomarker discovery/ validation for neurological disorders.
e) Learning, Plasticity, and Memory.
f) Neurobiology of Aging 

Eligibility: Researchers/ Scientists working in the Government Organizations/ Universities/ Academic Institutions/ National Laboratories/ SIRO recognized Non-Profit Organizations, with sound scientific & technical backgrounds and relevant publications in the proposed areas can submit project proposals.
