DBT announces Call for proposals for Postgraduate (PG) and Post-Doctoral (PD) Biotechnology fellowship programme

The Department of Biotechnology (DBT) of the Ministry of Science and Technology in India, and TWAS have established this fellowship programme for foreign scholars from developing countries who wish to pursue research toward a Ph.D. in biotechnology.

Eligibility: Applicant must hold a Master's or equivalent degree in science or engineering. For SANDWICH Fellowships, an applicant must be a registered Ph.D. student in their home country and provide the "Registration and No Objection Certificate" from the HOME university (sample is included in the application form); OR For FULL-TIME Fellowships; an applicant must be willing to register for Ph.D. at a university in India.
