Description : | Brinjal shoot and fruit borer is a typical holometabolous and monophagus lepidopteran pest. Sufficiently large population of different stages of this insect are needed to undertake screening of Bt transgenic Brinjal plants for challenge inoculation based resistance phenotyping. |
