Executive Summary : | Quantum field theory is the foundation of modern theoretical physics and is crucial for understanding physical dynamical systems. A conformal field theory describes the physical system near the critical point. The proposed project aims to understand the impact of boundaries on critical properties of a physical system by computing physical quantities like central charges and correlation functions. Various models, such as scalar field theory and gauge theory, will be studied, with interactions localized at the boundary. The $\epsilon$-expansion and large $N$-expansion will be used to compute various physical quantities. |
