Yashwantrao Chavan Planetarium and Science Centre has a collection of Sky theatre programmes/ shows covering a wide range of topics related to Space Science & Astronomy. Also, there is an exhibition gallery with a display of several posters in the Planetarium foyer area, which depicts various aspects of astronomy.

The centre is developed to promote a scientific attitude, portray the growth of science and technology and their applications in industry and human welfare, and hold science exhibits.

The main objective of APJ Abdul Kalam Astrospace Science Centre & Club is to open doors to the mysterious world of science to everyone. This center gives the practical knowledge of Science, Technology, and Mathematics.
