Executive Summary : | Technology Enabling Centre will create an Ecosystem for Technology Development in the Madhya Pradesh Universities and Technical Institutions to provide a platform for networking of researchers and students with other Institutes, National Laboratories as well as with industries. The focus of the Centre will be on providing an eco-system, process and support system to enable technology up-gradation in the proposed thematic areas. Specific activities to be undertaken in the five years’ period 1. Assessment of technologies requirement of MSMEs in and around the TEC. 2. Mining of Technologies being developed at various Labs in University/Technical Institutes. 3. Evaluating maturity of the identified Technologies Products/Process or both for further development. 4. Carry out the Market Study/ Assessment of the Technologies for their Market Potential. 5. Recommend the Pilot stage development co-development of the Technologies with established Institutions/Industries to make the Technology as Market ready product to DST. 6. TEC will serve the Industry by preparing reports and assisting in Research and Development in areas of dense Industry Clusters. 7. Networking with various Technology Development Institutions Labs for refining of the technologies. 8. Periodic Workshops/Seminars in Collaboration with Industries. 9. To bring out Information updates on the Technologies available in different areas through Newsletter Bulletin on regular basis. Expected Outcomes Indicate expected outcomes, likely impact and potential benefits both nationally and internationally as appropriate for the various stakeholders like industry, university, region, country etc. a. Awareness creation for solutions based on needs assessment. b. Creating platforms for exhibition and showcasing of talent. c. Nurturing innovators through its network of partners. d. Augment innovators in the Indore and Madhya Pradesh State with Eco-system of resources, Innovation and Advisory/facilitating role towards technology transfer and entrepreneurship |
