Executive Summary :

The nGUMPS technology is an Industrial Internet of Things solution for the continuous monitoring of the health of industrial pipe systems that are operating at high temperatures and subjected to corrosion. Current inspection approach is extremely tedious and expensive. Also, presently the inspection is periodic, only during shutdowns. The nGUMPS technology uses advanced guided ultrasonic waves, that travel long distances in the pipes, and uses sensor technology that can operate at temperatures up to 350 C. The data is preprocessed at the sensor site and the data is transmitted to a cloud server. This permits the industries to continuously monitor and provide timely corrective measures including prognosis of the life of the pipe systems.
