Executive Summary : | The project aims to develop an information extraction and summarization system for Oncology, utilizing recent advances in generic text summarization techniques to generate short summaries of medical reports. Query-specific techniques will be used to generate summary based on the doctor's intent, allowing for the selection of relevant documents from a large number of electronic health records (EHR). This system will help doctors efficiently assess the patient's context and reduce the time spent on reading all patient reports. |
