Executive Summary : | The cultivation and production of horticulture crops is considered as Golden Revolution and India has emerged as the second largest producer of fruits and vegetables in the world. Today's horticulture deals not only the fruits, vegetables and flowers but also other important crops like spices, condiments, plantation crops, medicinal and aromatic plants etc. In this project, a study is being carried out to determine reliable statistics in terms of area and production at different spatial hierarchies for proper planning and scheduling of horticulture crops. |
