Brief Description

Description :

Microbial strain Schizochytrium sp.(SC-1), isolated from marine source and starting material -glucose and proteins are used for production of DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid). The strain under optimized conditions produces about 30-35% DHA in total oil contents.
